“Anyone who eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Master irreverently is like part of the crowd that jeered and spit on him at his death. Is that the kind of “remembrance” you want to be part of? Examine your motives, test your heart, come to this meal in holy awe.
If you give no thought (or worse, don’t care) about the broken body of the Master when you eat and drink, you’re running the risk of serious consequences. That’s why so many of you even now are listless and sick, and others have gone to an early grave. If we get this straight now, we won’t have to be straightened out later on. Better to be confronted by the Master now than to face a fiery confrontation later.”

VERRRRY First Christian Church..
Very First Christian Church on Vimeo.I saw this video today, and I laughed so hard my ribs hurt.
The ugly truth is though, that I really do think a lot of churches:
- strive to market themselves like this to separate them from the rest of the “pack”.
- have this kind of rediculous perspective on their role in their community.
We need to remember that people SHOULD not be attending a church because of their buildings, location, or programs- but rather the VISION or banner the church is carrying.
Pastors & leaders- dont substitute things that can burn or be unplugged for Biblical Identity.
We exist to be make Him known, care for the lost, and help those in need.
Period. -
Mickey Mouse Breakdown..
I bet this guy (in the Mickey suit) was waiting and hoping that one day he would be able to bust out his sweet moves…and on this day it all came together.
