If you give no thought (or worse, don’t care) about the broken body of the Master when you eat and drink, you’re running the risk of serious consequences. That’s why so many of you even now are listless and sick, and others have gone to an early grave. If we get this straight now, we won’t have to be straightened out later on. Better to be confronted by the Master now than to face a fiery confrontation later.”

VERRRRY First Christian Church..
Very First Christian Church on Vimeo.I saw this video today, and I laughed so hard my ribs hurt.
The ugly truth is though, that I really do think a lot of churches:
- strive to market themselves like this to separate them from the rest of the “pack”.
- have this kind of rediculous perspective on their role in their community.
We need to remember that people SHOULD not be attending a church because of their buildings, location, or programs- but rather the VISION or banner the church is carrying.
Pastors & leaders- dont substitute things that can burn or be unplugged for Biblical Identity.
We exist to be make Him known, care for the lost, and help those in need.
Period. -

Quick Hello..
Just wanted to say hello, and that I wasn’t dead.
I know things have been empty and quiet around here, and I’m very sorry about that. God’s just done a lot in our life lately, and fankly, I haven’t been able to focus on blogging consistantly.I’m working on A LOT of different things right now. From a couple non-profits to changing the world with Nations, I’m in a season of FAST paced momentum.
I’m working on some of the next “Nations” branding, here’s a glimpse into some banners I’m working on right now.
